Founded in 2006, Noon Copenhagen, a Danish Watch Company has created collection of watches with a unique and patented ‘twist’. Founders Michael Slipsager and Jan Lovmand have utilized innovation that only creative experience can bring. It has a collection of timepieces that are unique and outstanding, and which mainly focus on innovation and quality with affordable watches. The collection mainly concentrates on look, color and design of the timepieces.
Their focus was to build up a unique product, concentrate on innovation and fine quality timepieces that are affordable to every budget. They were determined to on developing a timepiece featuring multiple hemisphere discs, which can change colors with time. The theme based on kaleidoscope, where the disc is dual colored both transparent and opaque. This turning discs, was patented as soon as it was build and was tested systematically. Along with award winning designer Henrik Sørig, a well-known industrial designer, has worked for many renowned international brands such as Bang & Olufsen and many more. In the “Watch Show” held at Basel world 2008, Henrik Sorig had designed for Noon collection to be exhibited at the premier. The collection is created of striking innovative watches in titanium and stainless steel, along with rubber Italian leather.
The font used in the logo was specially designed for the brand noon, such that noon can be read from both the direction left to right or right to left. The two “o” in the logo represents the turning discs in their watches. The logo represents the hour hand and minute hand and the turning discs – are three main features. Majority of the watches have the end of the strap cut out like the logo.
This is a brand of Denmark, and reflects modern, stylish, well-designed and trendsetting watches.
